Yuki Furukawa
(古川 雄輝 Furukawa Yūki?, born 18 December 1987) is a Japanese actor. He played the leading role as Naoki Irie in the 2013 television series Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo and its upcoming sequel, Mischievous Kiss 2: Love in Tokyo.Born in Japan and raised in Toronto and New York, he gained fame for his 2013 breakthrough role in the Japanese television drama Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo where he played the lead role Naoki Irie. He successfully presented a new image of the classical manga role of Irie Naoki, and starred opposite Miki Honoka who played his love interest. He was a Science major in University and taking up Engineering but he got in a contest in his school, and won and that year where his production company did an audition for actors and he was invited to participate and that is how he started acting. In less than four months after coming on Weibo, the Chinese equivalent of Twitter, the number of his followers has increased to more than 600,000.[1] Due to his popularity in China he starred in the Fuji TV/iQiyi web-drama Mysterious Summer which was the first drama series co-produced by Japan and China. The series was viewed more than 60 million times on Chinese online video platform iQiyi and was distributed online in more than 35 countries worldwide.
